Lets face it the days of the secure lifelong jobs with pensions are over. It is time to empower yourself with the right skill set and mindset. The entrepreneurial mindset will lead us out of this recession. You are not born with this mindset, however, it can be learned. What are the characteristics of an entrepreneur:
- Creator of your reality
- Willing to fail to eventually win
- Problem solver
- Innovative
- Not taking a risk is the only risk
- Sees opportunities
- Optimistic
- Ability to execute
- Adapts to rapid change
- Continually learning new skills
- Network; understands the necessity of collaboration

Powerful post. These are indeed the characteristics of an entreprenuer. Let me add one more under OPTIMISITIC, and that is BELIEF. You can be positive, but negative thoughts can be embedded in your subconscious and prevent those conscious thoughts from becoming reality.
